• Preparation for surgery

• Diagnosis of haemoglobinopathies including pre natal testing

Facilities:

• Sullivan and Nicolaides blood collection service and laboratory on site. 

• The day ward is where intravenous and subcutaneous treatments are administered, and where minor procedures including bone marrow biopsies and lumbur punctures are performed.

• ICON South Brisbane has an active clinical trials program.

• Dr Hodges participates in a multidisciplinary meeting to ensure collaboration with other specialites.

• Clinical nurse consultant provides education and nursing input for patients dealing with new diagnosis and coordinatation of clinical treatment programs. 

• Slade pharmacy is on site and Jarrod Pace and his team can manage your medications and scripts as well as provide pharmacy specific education about your treatment plan.
